Real experience

First time here, came with another co worker who is from Lincoln. We were in Lincoln for a work visit and he suggested LeadBelly. Came around 12pm seating was not too bad and we sat outside since it was nice out. I ordered the Baja Chicken Club with fries. Didn’t wait long for our order. I was surprised that the fries were waffle fries and crinkle fries, both yummy!!! I really liked it and would recommend it.

We very much enjoyed a delicious meal at LeadBelly’s. Absolutely loved the Poutine. The gravy is so good with cheese curds and bacon. Yummy! Went great with a nice cold beer. Then moving on to the burgers. Your choice of patty, I had the Raspberry Beret. He had the California Dreaming. It was fantastic. I would definitely recommend. Can’t wait to go back and try the Mac and cheese.

I absolutely adore LeadBelly and have been here 5 times since June when we moved to Lincoln. It is delicious, I love the way it looks inside and the mason jars are the cutest. Service is always amazing and the food is delish too!

Amazing food. Better dessert. Great atmosphere! I got the viva las vegan burger and it was amazing I was so full! I started my “appetizer” as the chocolate toffee cake. Also AMAZE-BALLS. My wife got the bayou shrimp salad and has said about 20 times tonight it was the best salad she’s ever had. Hahaha!

Great location in the historic Haymarket. Staff is friendly and attentive.
The menu has been simplified over the years but there’s something for everyone.
The burgers are really good but skip the fries for another side such as the slaw.

Great place for lunch! We had the burger and the prime rib cheesesteak. The burger was a nice size and very delicious. The chesesteak was amazing! Nice and tender prime rib, easy to bite. We would definitely return when in the area!

This place was wonderful! The chips & dip (guacamole with salsa) was amazing. My husband had the gooey Luis sandwich and he said it was Delicious. All the employees were very friendly. We have found our go to place when visiting Lincoln. Thanks for a great meal!

Great service, okay food. I ordered the all American burger and while it was fine, it was nothing special. Food took quite a while to get to the table but that wasn’t a huge deal. Not sure if I would go here again but I have no problem recommending it.

Really fresh and tasty burger for an excellent price. The meal I ordered came with regular fries, a couple of waffle fries and steamed fresh, fresh broccoli. Portions are large. Service was great. I loved the cute part that we were seated in; it looked like the back of an air stream or other type of camper. Perfect spot for the young ins to enjoy their meal and walk around the little room whiteout disturbing other diner enjoying their meals.

Good food, good service, fun atmosphere! They’ve got a lot of options outside the normal for burger tops, but you can get just plain style toppings on your sandwiches. Plenty to experiment with though!
